How to get to the Container

From Buenos Aires we recommend flying to Comodoro Rivadavia or Trelew (both have airports) and renting a car for local travel. If you are driving your own vehicle, take Route 3 in the appropriate direction.

From Comodoro Rivadavia

Take Route 3 heading north, passing the Garayalde service station where Route 30 begins. Turn right onto Route 30, which leads to the town of Camarones and then connects with Route 1 heading north. After about 8 km of gravel road you will see the Container on your left.

From Trelew

Also take Route 3 but heading south. Before reaching the Garayalde petrol station, turn off onto Route 30, which connects to the town of Camarones. From there take Route 1 heading north until you see the Container on your left.

Tip:

The last few kilometres are on a gravel road, so a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended. During rainy periods, check road conditions before departure.
